ndrea Le is a rising LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted in her 2022 win at the Portland Classic. Lee won in all tournaments, and she won nine times during her collegiate days during her time at Standford University. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born child in August 15th, 1998. James started teaching her daughter how to play golf at the age of five. Within four years, she won 50 junior championships. This year's US Women's Open was her first tournament cut. Her dad was her caddie. She was 15 when this happened. She received a sponsors invite to the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour however she missed the cut by one stroke. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup as well as Women's World Amateur Team Championship. In her first year at Stanford University in 2016, Lee became the school's most popular athlete in the school's history. She was awarded nine championships in the span of three seasons. Lee quit Stanford University and turned pro in 2019. Her record as an amateur was 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee completed her year as the top amateur, was awarded with the Mark H. McCormack 2019 Medal. Lee was a top amateur who achieved four albatrosses and four holes-in-one. The first time she played with the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10 spots. She placed 7th in the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 Portland Classic. Lee dedicated her victory to her late grandfather Min.
